The Kiwanis Club of Indian Springs Village is committed to improving the lives of children and families in our community. We partner with local schools, organizations, and community members to make a lasting impact through service projects and fundraising efforts. Below are some of the key initiatives our club proudly supports.
What We Do
Chromebooks for Eagles

Our Kiwanis Club has donated over 200 Chromebooks to Oak Mountain High School, helping to close the technology gap for students in our area. By raising funds to purchase Chromebooks for Oak Mountain Schools, we’re ensuring students have the tools they need to succeed academically.
Holiday Shopping for Children
Every holiday season, we collaborate with the Indian Springs Village Children’s Fund and Oak Mountain Elementary School to provide gifts for children in need. This effort ensures that every child in our community experiences the joy of the holidays, regardless of their circumstances.
Indian Springs Village Easter Egg Hunt
The annual Easter Egg Hunt is a beloved community event, and our Kiwanis Club is proud to be a part of it. We help set up over 5,000 Easter eggs, run the games, man the bouncy houses, and serve delicious burgers. It’s a day filled with laughter, community spirit, and fun for children and families alike.
Annual Grandparents Day at Oak Mountain Elementary
For students whose grandparents cannot attend Grandparents Day, our Kiwanis Club steps in. We spend the day enjoying lunch with students, filling in for their loved ones and ensuring every child has someone special to share this meaningful day with.
Kiwanis: Changing Lives Locally and Globally
While our Indian Springs Village Kiwanis Club focuses on improving the lives of children in our community, Kiwanis International tackles larger global issues like technology inequality and educational access. Together, we create opportunities for children to thrive by providing resources, mentorship, and support.
For over a century, Kiwanis has helped children around the world be curious, safe, healthy, and empowered. When you give a child the tools to learn, grow, and succeed, the possibilities are limitless.
Our Mission & Vision

The mission of Kiwanis International is to empower communities by making lasting differences in the lives of children. Our club strives to ensure that every child in Indian Springs Village wakes up in a community that believes in them, supports them, and nurtures their potential.
We fulfill this mission through our Kiwanis Community Service Projects, providing direct support to children and families in need. Our projects focus on local schools, holiday celebrations, and meaningful moments that create lasting memories for both children and their families.
