Investing in Our Community
Supporting Oak Mountain Schools and Local Quality of Life
Indian Springs Village is proud to invest in the future of our community through meaningful support of local schools, student programs, and public spaces. From educational improvements and fine arts enhancements to athletic upgrades and community facilities, these contributions reflect a continued commitment to the families, students, and organizations that help make this area such a special place to live.
Over the last several years, Indian Springs Village has provided significant funding to Oak Mountain schools and other local initiatives, helping create lasting improvements that benefit students on a daily basis and strengthen the broader community for years to come.
Supporting Oak Mountain Schools
Over the course of three years, all four Oak Mountain schools received more than $1.5 million in funding, helping make possible major equipment purchases, facility renovations, and student-centered improvements.
Indian Springs Village Mayor shared the Village’s heart behind this investment:
“We are extremely proud of our Oak Mountain Schools and delighted to be able to support them financially to enhance students’ educational experience and development. We are fully aware that these children are our future, and will do whatever we can to help make their journey successful.”
This partnership between Indian Springs Village and the Oak Mountain school community has supported academics, athletics, fine arts, technology, and student development across every grade level.

New Oak Mountain High School Band Uniforms

One of the most exciting projects supported through this partnership was the purchase of new Oak Mountain High School Band uniforms. After 24 years in their original uniforms, the band debuted a new look thanks in part to a generous grant from the Indian Springs mayor and town council, along with support from Band Boosters and the wider community.
The new design honors Oak Mountain tradition while introducing a more modern visual identity. Created by the band directors and the artistic staff at Fruhauf Uniforms, the uniforms feature classic Oak Mountain elements, including the interlocking OM logo, along with modular pieces that allow for multiple combinations. A specially designed drum major uniform with a reversed color palette ensures conductors stand out on the podium.
This investment reflects Indian Springs Village’s belief in supporting not only academics and athletics, but also the arts and the student experiences that build school pride and lifelong memories.

Since OMIS is the blending school, providing students with the opportunity to build social problem-solving skills along with academic growth is imperative. Each of these projects allows our faculty and staff opportunities to better grow the entire child.”

These contributions reflect the Village’s continued effort to strengthen the places where families gather, students compete, and the community comes together.
A Continued Commitment to the Future
Indian Springs Village remains committed to supporting the educational potential of local schools and the quality of life of the broader Oak Mountain community. These investments are about more than buildings, equipment, or renovations — they are about creating better opportunities for students, encouraging excellence, and helping the next generation thrive.
By partnering with local schools and supporting meaningful community projects, Indian Springs Village is helping build a stronger future for everyone who calls this area home.
